I am Josiah. And I was named after a king :)
King Josiah reigned when he was 8 after his father was assassinated by his own servants. King Josiah deposed the idolatrous priests and those also who burned incense to Baal. Josiah's reign saw many reforms that turned the kingdom of Judah back to God.
His tragic death at the age of 39: King Josiah did not listen to the words of Neco from the mouth of God, but joined the battle. And the archers shot King Josiah.
I bear my name but it doesn’t mean I would die like how King Josiah died, because I won’t. I won’t let it happen. And I would plead that God won’t let me :) And I believe that I have a greater destiny.
